Pictures from our trip to Montreal, including shots inside the Biodome and from the top of Olympic Stadium, are now up. Speaking of which, I found out the name of that monster-hamster. It's called a Capybara, and it frightens me.
![]() Just found out that comic-genius Harry Shearer is going to be in town on Tuesday, introducing and answering questions about his latest film Teddy Bear's Picnic at the Coolidge. For those of you who've been living in a comedy-free cave for the past 20 or so years, Harry is best known as Spinal Tap bass player Derek Smalls, as the voice of Smithers, Flanders, and Mr. Burns on the Simpsons, and as a writer and cast member on SNL for a couple years. He stars in his new film along with Michael McKean (his Spinal Tap co-star), Fred Willard, Howard Hesseman, Henry Gibson... the list goes on and on. Hell, even Dick Butkus is in this thing. Glad tickets are still available. We're there. ![]() |
