I took some time this morning and taught myself a bit about RSS, XML, and a little utility called Feedreader that Joe recently pimped on his site.
On the right you'll notice a new link to an RSS/XML feed that is now auto-generated when I update my blog. Joe's got a feed of his own, and hey, so does Jim (ok, so I'm lagging behind a little). Just download and install Feedreader, create new sites using each of our three feed URLs, and you're off and running with a viewer that will automatically update itself with new titles and summaries from our blog postings. Rather than randomly checking their sites for something new, I'll just glance at my Feedreader tray icon to see if I need to take a look. This feed also means anyone with an internet-ready handheld or mobile phone can read my posts as well (not that it'll happen, but hey, it's cool in theory). ![]() |
