Tuesday. Probably my least favorite day of the week... especially when they end up being just as busy as a Monday. I've been bombarded from all sides at work today from the most random places... new issues, old issues, mystery issues. But I got a handle on the queue and I'm finally in control. Grabbing a little blog time and heading towards the evening...

Practice tonight. Two shows this weekend, one here at Beckett's in Boston, the other up in Vermont. It's going to be a long week, capped off by the freakin' Superbowl. Who would have thought the Pats would be in there? Not me, that for sure. I've learned, in my limited time here in this city, that you can't emotionally invest yourselves in the sports teams. To do so would be severely masochistic. Better to let your teams surprise you. Don't give in to hope, though.

Saw a couple of great movies lately... the Brotherhood of the Wolf (so incredibly violent, but beautiful to look at and genuinely scary at points), and the even-better Donnie Darko. Why the hell didn't DD get released nationally? This sucker would have been on my top 10 for 2001. One of those movies that is unlike anything else I've ever seen... so unique, so original... I was stunned by it. Totally haunting, confusing, mind-bending... one of those movies that you can't stop thinking about. I still can't. Check out the website... it's not just a promotional site... it's an interactive puzzle with a hell of a lot of depth and effort put into it. Very cool stuff that deserves to be seen my many more people. I mean, Echo & the Bunnymen, Tears for Fears, and Joy Division on the soundtrack? That should sell you right there. Rent it when it comes.

Y'know, there aren't many things that taste better than chocolate covered pretzels. MmmmMMm...

Oh, sorry, got a little distracted there. Down to business. Here comes some... Links!

The Official Ninja Homepage: REAL ULTIMATE POWER!!!
To quote the webmaster... "These guys are cool; and by cool, I mean totally sweet." So damn funny.

FlameApe - Giordano's home
Check out the online portfolio of Greg Giordano. Mr. 8-Ball himself.

Grand Theft Auto 3 Warehouse
I can't get enough of this game. And I think I suck at it. Check here for news, cheats, hints, etc.

Kent Williams
Just plain gorgeous paintings and drawings. Some real masterpieces on display there. Go look.

Alright, s'all for now. Time to investigate what this 'Blogger Pro' is all about... do i upgrade? hmmmm...
