I finally get the urge to post something, and blogger breaks down for half a day. Now the site is back but my motivation is gone. Ah, what the hell, I'll muddle through a couple of words.
![]() So, yeah, we met Nicholas Brendon aka Xander on Buffy. Well... "met" is a little strong. We were whisked by him, got an autograph for a friend, and a quick picture of him with Amie as she said "You rock!". And that he does. ![]() ![]() Speaking of celebs who rock... last night we checked out Harry Shearer at the Coolidge Corner Theater, hosting his directorial debut Teddy Bear's Picnic. Face to face with Derek Smalls, the man behind Burns, Flanders, Otto and Kent Brockman, and the host of Le Show (which deserves to be on the radio airwaves in Boston, dammit). His post-flick Q&A ended up being far funnier than the film itself, which should have been high-larious, given the spoof's subject matter and excellent cast. I expected Christopher Guest-style shenanigans. Ah well. We'll just have to wait for A Mighty Wind for some o' that action. ![]() ![]() |
