Heads (and ears) up: PJ Harvey is going to be on the Tonight Show this evening. Which means I actually have to record Leno. Ouch. The TiVo fast forward button is gonna come in handy as I skip over his nightly schtick.
 Also on the late night tip, Boing Boing has a link to a downloadable torrent of Monday's Bill Clinton appearance on the Daily Show. A great interview, and so worth watching. The rest of the episode was excellent, as always. I'm on a big Ali G kick lately, thanks to the painfully hilarious season two. Hey, look, here's a Borat Soundboard. Booyakasha! I'm also feeding a bit of an RSS obsession, tracking down links and filling up my SharpReader at a record pace. I've neglected it for too long, so I finally took time to organize and sort my feeds. Hey, here's my latest feedlist, exported into a file that you can grab and import to your own SharpReader. Hey, I'll show you mine if you show me yours... hook me up via email or in my comments, yo. And check out this Top 100 RSS Feeds listing. Some good stuff in there. When I'm running on the treadmill, sometimes it gets too loud to hear the teevee, so I turn on the handy closed-caption action. Not just so I know what's being said, but occasionally for pure entertainment value. The typists who transcribe shows are either terrible, drunk, or devious. Maybe all of the above. Go ahead, convince me that this one (from last week's excellent Justice League Unlimited "For The Man Who Has Everything" episode) was an accident...  Bruce Wayne, you big potty mouth, you!  |
