Jackpot! I've been diggin' through old cassettes, some I didn't even remember I had, and just uncovered this Fugazi show from Burlington, Vermont in April, 1995, on their Red Medicine tour. "Hey, I remember this bein' pretty good", I thought. Oh, how right I was. It's straight from the soundboard, and it may be even better than the 1991 Vermont show I've been sharing here for awhile. Given how many people have grabbed those tracks, I expect new floodgates to open once word gets around. Spread it far and wide, everyone. While you're at it, check out the official Fugazi Live CD Series website, where the band is selling a bunch of recorded sets from throughout their history. This show isn't available there (or else I wouldn't be sharing it), but if you're looking for more, that's the place. Money well spent. The setlist... FugaziClick here for the download page. Apart from the makeshift edit of "Give Me the Cure" (which got cut in half thanks to the 90 minute cassette), the show is near perfect. So psyched. I only wish I had the soundboard tapes of Unwound and Karate, who opened up that night. Hell of a triple bill. Labels: livemp3s |
