It's official: I am the proud owner (well, lessee) of a brand new 5-speed 2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLS Wagon...
![]() Went with a wagon to haul the band's equipment around, and 'cuz my old one came in handy for fitting furniture during random relocations. It drives like a dream, it's freakin' fast, and so super shiny. Finally, back to a standard transmission where I belong. Now I've just gotta get the old piece o' junk hauled away and my mission is complete. Saw Audio Learning Center on Tuesday night, and was very glad I dragged myself out of the house after the Buffy season finale. Like I said, I love seeing a good trio... one that can pull that one-guitar dynamic off. Pond had it, Audio Learning Center's got it. And damn, so much energy on stage. I'm such a fan of their album that my expectations were sky-high, so it ended up being the newer, non-album songs that I enjoyed more. Their bass player/singer, Chris Brady (ex-Pond), mentioned that these new songs will probably end up being on a planned split cd with Rival Schools. What a one-two punch that EP is gonna be. ![]() ![]() 3 day weekend. And just in time, too. ![]() |
