So last night I attend a relatively inspiring candlelight vigil* on the Weeks Footbridge over the Charles, and this morning I wake up to hear that, according to a Gallup poll, "Americans are in favor of invading Iraq by a 2 to 1 margin, and 56% of all polled approve of Bush's handling of the situation."
So, either the poll is wrong, the media outlets telling us this are biased, or America, on the whole, is completely fucked. Trying real hard to hold onto some hope here, but it sure ain't easy. ![]() (* note to some fellow candlelighters: if you want to be taken seriously, a little less "Kumbayah" would be good.) ![]() |
