Ladies and gents, we interrupt our regularly scheduled music-tech-dean-movie postings for something on the personal side:
We are the proud parents of a six-month old puppy. Meet Nina ... She's half Black Lab and half Australian Shepherd, and she's cute as all hell. We've had her for a few weeks, and while I was at first resistant to the idea of getting a dog (three cats already, y'know), I'm so, so glad Amie wore me down. I'd always hoped that if we bought a house, we'd surely then get a dog, but after the place we wanted fell through, Amie found Nina and convinced me to take her in for a 'trial run'. As I got to know her, the trial run was no such thing. We got really lucky and somehow ended up with the most well-behaved, super-fun, sweet, full-of-personality dog possible. And to think... if the house had worked out, who knows if we would have found her? The timing worked out perfectly, and it feels like fate. |
