The four Icelandic ladies of Amina add many things to a Sigur Ros show, not just with the strings they play during it, but often by easing the audience in with their own set of songs. On their recent North American tour, we got to see them use far more than their violins and cellos, as they switched over to keyboards, desk bells... and wine glasses. One of 'em even rocked the magic handsaw. Congrats to the sound guy for making sure we could hear it all, especially the fingers-on-glass action. Here's their eight song set from the Boston Opera House, opening for Sigur Ros last month. There's a bit of crowd noise, as many late-comers were still being seated and settling in, but it doesn't much detract...
